Terms and Conditions
Fees: A retainer of £500 is payable upon submission of the booking form. No dates will be confirmed without receipt of this fee. Retainer fees are non-refundable, except in the unlikely event of cancellation by the photographer. Once your booking form is received, you will receive an invoice and instructions for sending payment. Accepted payments include debit/credit card via Paypal (account not needed) and bank transfer.
Payment of balance: All balances are due 30 days prior to the wedding day. Separate invoices will follow in due time for any remaining payment(s). Accepted payments are as stated above.
Promotion Eligibility: Promotions apply only to bookings made at published rates.
Liability: Randall takes extreme care with your images from the time of capture, through to processing, archiving, and delivery of images. However, in the event that Randall fails to comply with the obligations of this agreement, for any reason including but not limited to events outside of the photographer’s control, the photographer’s liability shall be limited to a refund of all payments made.
Copyright and Licensing: Randall retains full copyright of all images supplied by him under the terms of the Copyright, Designs, and Patents Act of 1988. Wedding clients are granted a perpetual and non-exclusive copyright license to produce copies of photographs in print and electronic media for personal use only, unless alternate licensing arrangements have been agreed to in writing by Randall Murrow. Colour accuracy: While I do everything in my power to ensure a pleasing colour balance to your images, exact colour matching cannot be obtained unless a Client provides me with one or more fabric samples at the time of the shoot. Without these samples, I will base my digital adjustments on accepted standards for appropriate skin tones.
Print quality: Images are delivered as high-resolution JPG files at 300dpi and in the sRGB colour space, adhering to industry standards for resolution and consumer-grade print lab colour. Files are prepared to printing specifications on a colour-calibrated large Mac display. Clients are extended a personal license to pursue their own printing options. However, I cannot recommend or guarantee results obtained on home printers; nor do I guarantee results obtained in high street photo labs, which unfortunately can vary widely in print quality, colour consistency, and operator skill. For best results with high street chains, please test a range of labs before making a final decision or ordering large prints. For consistent professional results, please enquire about purchasing prints, use the online ordering system, or consult the professional print lab of your choice.
Weather: Randall cannot be held responsible for disappointment caused by the weather but will provide alternate arrangements for formal photographs should conditions warrant, provided there is adequate interior space to accommodate the desired groups.
Food: For coverage which extends beyond dinner into the evening, Randall requests meal and drink provisions to be made for the photographer and one assistant where applicable while dinner is being served.
