Croydon Parish Church becomes Croydon Minster this year in a ceremony happening on 29th May. It’s a step forward in a larger plan for Croydon to become a city in its own right, and I know the clergy and congregation see the move also as an indication of the church’s importance and influence in the wider community.

And it’s a gorgeous building! But more importantly are the lovely people working and worshiping within.

There are no exterior photos to show yet, as the building is surrounded by scaffolding at the moment. Croydon Minster’s website will also undergo a renovation soon, and some of these photos will form an important visual record of the architecture and community there.
